Learning as an adult. Fit the front wheel for the first sessions, start on smooth, flat ground and keep your weight centred until the heel glide feels natural. A helmet and wrist guards are a good idea at any age, and the safety guide has the checklist.

Button or manual. The Cloud and Pro-X LOW have a heel button that brings the rear wheel out and tucks it back in, handy if you wear them all day. On the other styles the wheels slot in and out by hand.
