    Everything You Need to Know About LED Heel Wheel Roller Shoes

    An LED heel wheel shoe does two things a normal sneaker does not. The wheel in the heel lets you switch from walking to rolling without changing shoes, and the light strip in the sole makes that movement visible. The lights and the wheels are separate systems: the sole glows whether you are rolling or walking, and the shoe rolls the same whether the lights are on or flat.

    How the rear wheel comes out depends on the model. On some it lifts out and clips back into the sole by hand, with nothing sealed inside the midsole. On others a button on the heel drops it out and retracts it again. Several models also take a front wheel, which spreads the contact over two points along the length of the foot instead of one under the heel, and that longer base is easier to balance on while a rider is learning.     Which Kick Speed heel wheel shoes have LED lights?

    Every model in this collection has an LED sole, in both low-top and mid-top cuts. The lights are built into the midsole and charge over USB, and they work independently of the wheels. If you would rather have no lights at all, our heel wheel shoes without LED cover the same design in plain uppers.

    Are LED heel wheel roller shoes allowed at school?

    That depends entirely on the school. Some allow wheeled shoes as long as the wheels stay out during lessons, others ban them outright, and a light-up sole is more likely to draw a teacher's attention than a plain one.     Can you wear LED roller shoes as normal shoes?

    Yes. On the pop out models the wheels retract so you can walk normally. On the heel wheel models you walk on the flat of the shoe and tip back onto the wheel only when you want to roll.

    Do the LED lights stop working in the rain?

    The lights are sealed in the sole, but these are not made for heavy rain or being submerged. Keep them dry and wipe them clean with a damp cloth so the LED and wheel system last.
