Heel Wheel Roller Shoes With Detachable Front and Rear Wheels
The Kick Speed™ Plasma Flow LOW Heel Wheel Roller Shoes / LED are built around one idea: the rider decides how many wheels are on the shoe. Both the rear heel wheels and the front wheels are detachable, so the same pair works as a plain sneaker, as a classic heel wheel shoe, or as a full four-wheel setup. The low-top silhouette carries a silver plasma flame graphic over a gradient upper in blue, violet or pink, with an LED strip running the length of the sole.
Three Ways to Ride, and Where These Differ From Heelys
Classic Heelys shoes are built around a single wheel in the heel. Plasma Flow gives you three configurations instead of one. Fit the rear wheels only and you get the familiar heel-and-toe glide. Fit the front wheels only and the shoe rolls from the ball of the foot. Fit all four and you have a stable four-wheel platform that most beginners find far easier to balance on than a heel wheel alone. Take every wheel out and the flat sole walks like an ordinary trainer.
That matters most in the first weeks. A rider who is still nervous can start on four wheels, learn the balance, then drop to the rear pair as confidence grows, without buying a second pair of shoes.
Manual Insert Wheel System, Twist-Lock Closure and LED Sole
The wheels use a manual insert system. Each wheel unit slots into its mount in the sole and comes out the same way, with no button and no mechanism hidden inside the shoe to go wrong. The bearings are built for smooth, quiet rolling on flat indoor floors and dry pavement.
Instead of laces, Plasma Flow uses a twist-lock dial. One turn tightens the whole upper evenly, and a pull releases it, which is a real advantage for younger riders who cannot yet tie laces tightly enough to skate safely. The LED sole is USB rechargeable through a micro-USB port on the shoe.
The upper combines polyester and faux leather with a rubber outsole and cotton lining. It is a low-top cut with a round toe, a cushioned footbed and a slip-resistant tread on the sections of the sole that touch the ground when the wheels are removed.
Sizing, Fit and Who These Suit
Plasma Flow runs from US 1 to US 8.5, which is EU 30 to 40, or a foot length of 20.0 to 26.7 cm. That range covers younger children through to teens and adults with smaller feet. Measure the foot rather than guessing from a previous pair, because sizing varies between brands. Our size guide shows how.
These shoes have no toe stops, so braking is done by stepping down onto the flat part of the sole. New riders should read the safety guide and wear a helmet, wrist guards and knee pads while learning. Compare the whole range in our heel wheel roller shoes collection, or see our roller skate shoes with pop-out wheels if you would rather the wheels stayed inside the sole.
